Rain Power

Nowadays another source to obtain electricity is been experimented, that is the energy from the impact of the rain drops. This energy is picked up in a sheet of polidinilidene fluoruride (PVDF) which is a plastic piezoelectric (material able to transform mechanic energy in electric energy)

Up to the moment is estimated that a I kWh it could be obtained in a region such an inside zone of France. So it is far to be a competitive source of energy yet.
